Engineering is perhaps the most tangible evidence of our bicycling culture at CSU. The presence of bicycling specific infrastructure highlights our desire to welcome cyclists to our campuses. Numerous surveys show the physical environment is a key determent in whether people will get on a bike and ride. CSU provides bicycle lanes, separated bicycle and pedestrian trails, bicycle racks, bicycle repair stations, a bicycle shelter, and many more considerations for the bicycling experience. Furthermore, plans, reports, and other documentation regarding our infrastructure, goals, and vision are captured in the E that is engineering.
